To begin with...

This section of the site covers virtually everything you may wish to know about creating a character tailor-made for the Raft tribe. Of course, if you've already got a Raft alt, it also serves as a quick reference and repository for info regarding tribe policies, background, and, for lack of a better term, society. You need to understand...

OOC Info, an abreviation meaning "Out of Character Information", refers to anything a player might happen to know or, indeed, need to know as they play the game. Typically, this information is defined as knowledge a player has that is different from or more thorough or specific than that which his or her character may possess.

For example, as a player you might know that one of the character in the game is going to be killed by humans on Dancer Beach. Your character, however, would not know that until a) she witnesses it happen or b) another character tells her about it during roleplay. (The only usual exception to this would be if you are told that it is something that would fall into "common knowledge" for the tribe -- a frequent occurance after a large TP of that nature. Even so, that doesn't automatically mean your character would actually know all of the latest news in the tribe. Gotta have room for a scene-hook somewhere, right?)
