Stuff you really need to know...

There is zero tolerance for any form of harassment. More defined harassments are as follows:

Sexual harassment

NO is no, ICly as well as OOCly. NO assuming that things happened without consent from both (or however many) parties. NO pressing for TS in exchange for 'RP'. NO OOC sexual comments which are not wanted. NO begging and convincing someone who obviously does NOT wish to play any intimate scenes. On this one there is NO, we repeat, NO tolerance whatsoever. If you feel you are being pushed, guilted or forced into anything along these lines, PLEASE let any of the Chiefs know. We will keep it discreet if that is your wish, we'll even just discuss this with you before filing a complaint with the Wizards if that makes things easier.

RP control harassment

NO forcing poses. Do not assume other players' next moves or include emotions which they have not stated they feel. Use good judgement, even being overly careful to speak OOCly with the other parties before you make a pose which will affect, or somehow spoof, their characters directly. We wish we could include a definite rule about creating guilt-heavy poses in here, but, as it is, some poses are meant to be created that way. We will, however, point to the rule above. Do NOT let anyone guilt your character, nor the player behind the screen, into doing anything that is not IC for them or acceptable to you. Use good judgement. If in doubt, call in a neutral party.

General harassment

This rule covers most forms of harassments which can't be catagorized under the other two. If you at ANY point in this game feel you are being harassed, be it through pages, someone following you around, or any other form of unwanted attention, LOG it, notify your Chiefs and we will help you work it out.

A general note to everyone...

The Chiefs are here for you. At any time, please feel free to talk to either of us if you're in doubt or need clarification. If you feel you can't talk to either of us, the Wizards are here for you as well. We would prefer that you'd be able to come to us, but will of course respect it if you feel you can't.

LOGGING is your strongest witness and defense in cases like these. Most MU* clients have this capablity. Please use it as soon as you think you are being harassed. We will, of course, listen to you even if you do not have them, but LOGS would be THE thing to have if at all possible. (You may want to get into the habit of logging automatically, regardless. If nothing else, you'll be able to record all of the nifty IC things that happen to your characters -- and then submit them this site for everyone to see! )
